I like the this candle lighter has a safety feature built in. It will not stay lit for more than 7 seconds to keep the lighter from overheating.  I also appreciate the indicator lights keeping me aware of how much battery charge remains. It did come with almost a full charge ( 4 lights) which was a nice surprise.  However, I'm noticing that the battery depletes a bit faster than I anticipated.  Charging cable is included.It's easy enough to operate, and the flexible neck makes it easy to adjust for the best lighting angle. There is an on/off switch and a button that needs to be depressed and held to ignite. I went to Amazon looking for those long fireplace lighters to light my candles but none showed up in my search. So I explored some of the random things that popped up including this. Once I received it, I used it right away (mine came fully charged). It makes me think of when people hot wire a car on tv—just very, very tiny. Lol. Super cool concept but I wish the “safety” element was better. I actually bought this bc I was moving and I ended up putting it back in the packaging bc I didn’t feel confident that it wouldn’t ignite while the movers were jostling everything. The switch is just a little too easy to slide forward. There should be another button/ latch to push or something. I’m storing this flat on a top shelf to avoid any accidental issues but look forward to using this to light the candles all around my new place.

This lighter saved me so much money. Usually, with lighters that require lighter fluid, you have to buy a new one every time the lighter fluid runs out, which can be a lot of the time, depending on how much you use it. But, with this rechargeable electric one, every time it gets close to running out of charge, you just plug it in. The bendy end allows you to light things without having to do a lot of maneuvering and the blue lights in the front indicate how much charge is left. The safety on and off switch is perfect in case you have small children, so they can't hurt themselves. Honestly, after reading this review and you are still iffy about buying this product, then I don't know what else to say to convince you. Go get this rn!
