I bought a pair of these, one for my own use and one as a present.Both arrived in perfect collimation, i.e. the two views easily converge. That's not typical in low-cost binos and definitely not the case with my 40 years old made-in-Japan Bausch and Laumb. In terrestrial viewing the focus is quite sharp. Focus knob is smooth with zero play so you can easily get objects in close proximity into focus. I tried stargazing briefly and there is a slight color aberration (fringe "halo") on bright objects like the moon, but it's no worse than an Orion short-tube telescope. For the price you can't ask for more.The light weight of a magnesium body with a compact roof prism makes them easy to use for extended periods. Demanding applications like astronomy require a tripod, but occasional use is fine without.The fit and finish look decent. There is nothing rattling and nothing obvious made of cheap material that might break in a few weeks.These are great "goto" binoculars to keep in the glove compartment and a fine gift for a young person to start in astronomy. Highly recommended!

After comparing them with other models and magnification, they are probably 10×42. They have good clarity and sharpness. If you don't have a more expensive or better quality model to compare them to, you'll think they're almost perfect. The focus wheel is excellent and has no play. For this price you shouldn't find fault with them. If you need the best possible clarity in low light, look for a heavier and bulkier 10x50.

Product feels heavy and robust compared to what i was expecting. Seems liek they last a long time thats for sure. Compared to current 6x and they are way stronger. Thoroughly impressed for price!

These are decent for a gift for a college graduate. They deserve something that will last a lifetime.

Everything works as advertised. It’s a great value for the price. it looks on the cheap side, but it’s actually a very high quality product as well. If you needed a 12x magnification binocular at any price, thist is the one.Product Information listed “1 battery required”. I just couldn’t figure out where it’s used. It should be a typo.It’s not actually “light weight” as in “cheap plastic”. That’s a good thing to me. It means there must be metal frames under the rubbery casing, giving it a sturdy and long-lasting feel. I bought this for its low price, but I think it’s also a great product. I had an old 10x Bushnell. I also bought (and returned) another newer 12x model. This one is better than both of them in quality. I’d give it two extra stars if Amazon allows it.

I was surprised for the quality of this binoculars, they are sharp, cristal clear, light weight and very easy to adjust it. I really recommend it.

These are great, have descent optics & easy to hold & use . @ $13, you can't go wrong.
