This microscope is very suitable for coin and stamp collectors. The effect is amazing.

Can I use it for checking trichomes?

I used it for checking trichromes on legal cannabis grow. It did the job. It’s better than magnifying glasses at this price range.

Can't get this to connect to my Samsung Galaxy s8.. downloaded otg, camorama, and inskam.. not happy about this!! Am i doing something wrong?

I use "USB Camera" (v2.6.0) on an older LG phone (Android 7.0), so I would think your phone will work too. IIRC, it took a bunch of tries searching for an app, and this one is good. I'm not sure if OTG checkers do anything to settings, but I currently have no OTG checker installed. I ran a checker before purchasing the 'scope. Video transfer has a lot going on, as I've found out since. Don't be worked up, the company, Jiuson, is competent and helpful. A tidbit of information I came across after bumming out too - sometimes an additional power source may be necessary, and this is how I run my tablet (Android 4.0). It has a separate barrel-style charging line, but this is probably not your problem (not sure how it would be accomplished with USB charging anyway).

Will this work on windows 11; samsung galaxy s8+; galaxy tab a (2017) or galaxy tab a (2019)??

I'm not sure if it will work on a computer because I had used it on my phone. I have purchased a few different times and it seems the newer models don't work as well on older phones.
