Suddenly A Footballer

A cut above the rest
Normally I do not buy books written by ‘famous’ people and footballers in particular. For one reason principally which is that they are all about promoting themselves and painting the picture of how wonderful they are. This is not the situation with this book. It clearly gives an honest appraisal of what it’s like growing up to be a top footballer. Written by a footballer who by common consent is a gentleman and unusually for a footballer has a brain which he puts to good use. A really interesting and informative book to be recommended.

Very good insight to Juan Mata
Very good explanation of Juan Mata’s football career so far - how he started, teams played for and people he has met and who has made an impact on his life.Found the wording inside the front and back sleeve a bit difficult to read due to it being in ‘small’ and in black and red on a black background.I learnt a lot about Juan and his family.A very good read, which I recommend to any Manchester United fan.

Not much about clubs
This book is okay nothing more. He doesn't really talk about what happens when he's been at clubs. It's more on the mental side of it and the coaches and he,s felt about it.

A truly great man and not a bad footballer
A humble man in a time where humility is rare in the world of football millionaires.
