Another lovely story
This is a story that warms your heart. Sweet, funny at times and thoroughly enjoyable. And I love how this series is also weaving one story with the other...it makes you hunger for the next one in line.

Another fabulous read from Ms. Leech - Delectable and Romantic
This book blew me away right from the heroine who is actually a spitfire disguised as a bluestocking to the hero, who is a humorous person full of love ready to be loved. This book made me cry because of the self esteem issues that the hero faces - its usually the girl who in historical times who is made to feel inadequate so it was surprising that the hero was made to feel inadequate. Also, I loved Elspeth with all my heart - she is me ssoo much. Her loyalty and love towards Dare is beautiful.I loved the heart rendering scenes. My new book boyfriend as well - DareRomance Level: 4/5Steamy Level : Detailed foreplay and love making scenes ( no abuse words)Mention : this book is best read while adhering to the series as it has deep character involvement and will enrich your reading experience.

Absolutely adored this
Emma Leech's books are like having a best friend over for a cup of tea and a good chat/gossip and with everything going on in the world right now, her books are just a joyous antidote to it all. I switched off from it all with this book -the story of a beautiful soul in Daire and a worthy heroine Elspeth. It was romantic, funny, hot, clever, angsty, it made me cry; it had it all!Characters from previous books are allowed to come and go without taking from the main stage, and its so lovely to see Bonnie again - but I have to say, you NEED to read all her previous books, they are fabulous - and we are given a glimpse of characters to come. Cannot recommend highly enough. Thank you for much needed escapism Emma and I am just chomping at the bit for more of the Marquess of Bainbridge!

Emotionally engaging, sweet and funny story
I always love Emma's books, and this is one of her best. Dare and Elspeth are wonderful characters whose story is so emotionally engaging and fulfilling on every level. Sweet and filled with deft touches and laugh out loud moments. And we get to see glimpses of more stories to come, and characters we love from the past series, without taking focus away from the beautiful central story. A brilliant book in a series that is shaping up to be as satisfying as the series about these girls' parents. I can't wait for the next one!

WARNING: SERIOUS DANGER OF BOOK HANGOVER AFTER READING THIS!
Emma's characters are always so brilliantly constructed they become like friends to you. I've fallen in love with so many leading men, Daire is certainly one of the best. He's got it all going on - the good looking bit goes without saying then he's got such a charming cheeky sense of humour and the interactions between him and Elspeth are laugh out loud funny. But his vulnerability is the absolute clincher - he is truly heartbreaking! As for Elspeth she does not disappoint, I love a strong female lead. She's intelligent and witty and fabulously seductive. The only downside is you just do not want this story to end I feel bereft without my new friends. Something tells me we'll see - at least glimpses of them in the continuing Daring Daughters stories.Another great series from Emma V Leech - she genuinely hasn't written a bad one!

Opposites certainly do attract!
Emma's books are such a joy to read, we meet old friends and learn more about the younger generation , but each book is so different. I think if anything I am enjoying this series more than the last. And can't wait for the next book in the series. Are Louis and Evie going to be the Montague and Mattilda of this series, I wonder?Dare was such a lovely man he just wanted someone to love him, Elsbeth however didn't want to marry, she wanted to teach . However he persisted and attraction won her over in the end.
