This is currently half the price of the sealant kit that seems to be recommended in a lot of YT videos. I've used one of the plastic guides so far for a shower tray job and it was great. Can't comment on longevity. For removing old sealant, I've tried everything and ultimately use a stanley knife and lots of elbow grease.The only negative is the lack of any kind of user guide. The more expensive kit has a leaflet advising on how to use, the best way to do corners etc, you can google this yourself as it's the same here.I selected a size based on the largest gap I had to fill - before you start the work, run a pad around where you will be siliconing and make sure you're covered. For corners, I did a vertical bead first (starting from the floor and working upwards), letting this cure for 24 hours. Then I did the horizontal bead and it looks very professional. Also use decent brand silicon rather than the mega cheap stuff!

Decent enough for the price. Worth buying if you're doing your own home but wouldn't stand upto trade use

I think the issue is me. I was resealing the tub and they work … ish. When the excess sealant builds up it’s hard to get all of it off.It does a beautiful finish but I felt like I wasted a lot of sealant and they’re impossible to use behind the taps and fixtures. In the end I just used my finger.

Just the job for an amateur like me.
