some minor improvements
This is a great set up. We purchased some longer chords, as the ones that come with it seemed to be an inch or two short for our iPads. The little dividers fall out all the time when removing devices. A quick fix was to use a little hot glue and it's great now.

Reliable charging but flawed storage design -- Update: 3 months later
The station has lots of charging ports for various devices, and consistently charges all devices without issue. However, the dividers that allow laptops and tablets to sit vertically, like books on a bookshelf, are often to short, feel flimsy and constantly pop out of their slots, especially as devices are lifted for use. This is very frustrating, as there build of the storage area feels cheap while the charging is reliable. This was exactly the opposite experience with my previous station from another vendor, which looked great and held my devices well, but was inconsistent with charging.Update: 3 months later -- after 2 months, two of the ports stopped working. The flimsy storage slots have really become an issue, as they often come out of their slots at the base of the unit, as you lift a tablet/laptop out of the unit. I would look for an alternative to this product.

Excellent charging station - UPDATE: Fire Hazard
After looking through a TON of options, the durability of the dividers, array of ports, sturdiness of design, and (most importantly) wattage and heftiness of the charging system sold me. We got the big one. This thing isn’t cheap, but it’s worth it if you are sick of chargers and wires taking over your house. Oh... and you don’t want a cheap-o version catching fire.UPDATE 5/2022: Two years later, my son was plugging his Kindle Fire back into its usual port (no issues with the cables or the device) and he yelled for me because it began sparking and getting extremely hot. I unplugged the main power adapter to find that it had singed the outlet it was plugged into and the port on this device that had initiated the power draw for his tablet. I am extremely concerned that this device is a fire hazard and have requested a refund. At least we got lucky for two years of use?
