Lovers Like Us

So cute!!!! I paid a lot to get my hands on this book and I will always cherish it. Maximoff and Farrow are such a wonderful couple!!

I just really thought I couldn't love Maximoff and Farrow more than I already did, but I was damn wrong. They’re the cutest. Every single scene of them together made me smile so much and I couldn't help it (kinda felt like Moffy in these moments, not gonna lie). I want a love like theirs for real.I really liked the development of their relationship, the plot itself, and I did love it so much that we got to see more of the SFO bodyguards (within or not with their clients) and to see more of some of the other cousins—like Charlie, Beckett, (even more of) Jane, Sulli and my favorite girl Luna. Seeing them bonding and becoming a stronger unity felt so great. I also liked that we kinda got the “redemption” of the Core Six after how the last book ended. And that conversation between Charlie and Moffy really hit me hard, I just really hope for them to reach a point in which they’ll be fine and friends again.Last but not least, I love Loren and Lily Hale so much. Simply that.

I was so excited to finally have the book but it arrived damaged. Highly disappointed

Lovers Like Us was absolutely FANTASTIC!!!!I am a HUGE fan of Krista and Becca Ritchie.One of the biggest reasons has always been that their series were unique. The Addicted Series as well as the Calloway Sisters are true series. I have NEVER read anything like this before. With each book Krista and Becca Ritchie continue a story arc that includes every single character of the cast. From the very beginning they included everyone, all the siblings, boyfriends and love interests. And whenever I read a book I felt like I’m part of this HUGE family, and over the years and many books I became so invested in this story and everyone’s journey.Now diving into a new series, it took me exactly one book to fall in love with this new generation of Hales, Meadows, and Cobalts. With the first book I got a taste of what was to come, the second book I was already head over heels in love with every single character.Krista and Becca Ritchie managed to create a cast that was incredibly fascinating. Not only were the characters enigmatic and captivating, each individual was complex, layered and utterly unique. They also introduced a slew of bodyguards that were HOT, HOT, HOT and apparently some will be future love interests down the road. YES!!!!!!!!!!I fell in love with quite a few of the bodyguards. YUM!! That’s all I’m saying.If you want to take a look at the inspirations for each characters, take a look at their Pinterest boards. EYE CANDY that’s all I’m saying.The love story between Farrow and Maximoff was unbelievably romantic, sexy but most of all emotionally gripping. Farrow and Maximoff knew each other so well. I was sighing and swooning with each page. It’s just amazing how these authors can top each book, deliver even more amazing stories, develop characters I would want to call my friends, or fall in love with myself.Honestly, it’s incredible!!!!!I can’t get enough of their writing, their stories or their characters. I never thought that this new generation would speak to me as deeply as they did. But I loved them all. And I can’t wait to read the next book.I believe the reason why Lover Like Us was even better than Damaged Like Us was because of the deep bond between Maximoff and Farrow. Those two had my heart go all gooey. I was honestly to God in LOVE!! On top of that, the authors decided to take the group (Maximoff, Jane, Sulli, Beckett and Charlie with their bodyguards) on a road trip, and the close proximity was exactly what everyone needed to fix some of the issues and grow even closer. Not only did the cousins grow closer, the entire lot, bodyguards included, became a tight knit group. For me the sense of belonging, trust and loyalty was just beautiful and heartwarming – truly one of a kind!!!If you want to read something UNIQUE, a series that is a bit like a reality show, give these books a try. It’s an epic series that you won’t easily forget.

I recommend reading the entire serious in the reading order provided by authors....but even if you don’t this is another amazing story!!! I can’t wait until 2018....I have read this entire book series over and over and over again!

I finished Lovers Like Us last night and I CANNOT BELIEVE HOW GOOD IT WAS!!!! It's very rare that a book makes me cry, laugh and gasp out loud whilst reading and I can confirm LLU did all three of those things!!I did not expect to love Moffy and Farrow as much as I do but I cannot get enough of them. I also have new levels of feelings for Charlie. His talk with Moffy was giving me Connor/Ryke vibes and I LOVED IT.No other writer creates such well rounded, complex and entirely individual characters like KB do, which I why I LOVE these books so much.Literally cannot wait for more Like Us series!! Thank you both for writing another amazing book!! <3
