Norpro Professional Meat Tenderizer

An excellent tenderizer for chicken and meats to convert them juicy and tasty

These are norpro knockoffs. I bought a real norpro at the department store. And they are totally different. The one I have already is awesome, heavier, solid and 100 times more well built. The one sold on here is a FAKE piece of useless crap. Left one in picture is the knockoff.

My mom had a pampered chef one growing up, it’s still primo but I bought this with low expectations and I was wrong! It’s easy to use and clean, I put it upright in the dishwasher and take it out immediately after the cycle ends and I’ve had no trapped water or rust. I’ve used it dozens of times and it’s still like new. Can’t beat the price or quality! It’s been a breeze for every use on every type of meat.

Bought it for poking holes through pork belly skin. You can use a fork but will take much longer. Very easy to use and lightweight. If you like crispy pork, buy this.

Purchased to pierce the skin when making crispy pork belly. The nail prongs are pointy and sharp but the item is light weight. It took a lot of force to adequately penetrate the skin. I have not used it on any meat portion so unable to comment regarding prongs retracting and food being embedded in the prongs. The handle is plastic and I can see where other reviewers made mention of the handle splitting at the seams. It would be nice if the handle had silicone wrap to secure the hold as well as reenforce the handle.

I wish I had discovered this meat tenderizer years ago! It works great and is easy to use.
