Good stuff!
Good stuff! Have a high mileage 292 inline six. Developed a rod knock. Actually bought the product to use in a newly rebuilt engine to replace the one that is knocking.Decided to add it to the oil of the knocking motor and the knock is barely audible. In addition, the engine runs much smoother. Didn't notice any gain in the gas mileage. I intend to take the engine apart when I have some time. Will be interested to see if the con rod bearings are indeed the source of the knock. If it is, the product provides some increased lubricating properties which reduced the noise.

If you can not do math and do not understand oil additives walk on!
I have been using this for many different things since the day it was first brought to market. It does not matter what oil viscosity or API oil rating your car calls for this can be used in it from 0w16 to 15W40. I mostly use use 5W30, 5W40 and 0W40 synthetic oils regardless of what the manufacture recommends currently since the advent of Corporates Average Fuel Economy C.A.F.E. Tax scheme in America! The numbers printed on your oil cap and in your owners manual are recommendations not absolutes if you do not get that stop reading now!For most modern cars I add 1 ounce per quart of oil capacity at the time of the oil change. For older cars that do not have rollerized valve train I add 2 ounces per quart. I have never had a problem using this format. I have done hundreds of Used Oil Analysis UOA with this product at those dosages and never had a problem. I have vehicles that range from 2 years old to 35 years old and not had a catalytic converter fail at these levels even with over 7 years of constant use. Cars that burn lots of oil have issues because they burn lots of oil and have cheap catalytic converters not because of additive levels alone.I have never actually used this to add to oil to break-in a new engine freshly assembled since I use other products when I am building a new engine. The idea with this produce is to sweeten or tweak existing oil mildly not re-invent the wheel. It is a fantastic value when used in this manner.I especialy like to add it to M1 0W40 and Pennzoil Ultra Platinum to fortify the oil going into the engine of a used car with unknown history. Used as I suggest especialy on a low millage vehicle going forward your timing chain, cam phasers and valve train will thank you!
