Exactly as described.
I ordered the Simax Glass Teapot For Stovetop: Glass Tea Kettle For Stove Top - Tea Pots For Stove Top - Stovetop & Microwave Safe Kettles For Boiling Water - Clear Glass Tea Pot With Spout -1 Quart/4 Cup Teapots.First off, this is a nice study glass, made in the Czech Republic 🇨🇿. Though not as thick as say a USA made Pyrex measuring cup, it is far better quality than a standard Chinese glass teapot.I have run the pot through the dishwasher, had it in the refrigerator, put it in the microwave, set it on an electric cup warmer, used it with an open flame metal tea candle warmer, and placed it directly on my glass stovetop. The only time I have had issues so far is when I placed it on the stove with milk in it (I'm still getting used to the direct heat of the glass surface). Even so, after a bit of soaking, I was able to clean it again with a sponge and Dawn dish soap. And, in the microwave, milk is fine (the shape works great for hot chocolate bombs). The handle is large enough to easily hold, and does not transfer heat causing burns. The lid stays on fairly well, even when tipping out the last of the tea.The spout does not drip down the front after pouring, but can splash a little if the lid is on and you are too impatient to pour slowly. However, the lid does a fantastic job of allowing the tea to pour, but holding the loose leaves or fruits. The amount you can keep in it is easily enough for 8 people to have 1-2 teacups each before needing a refill. This works great as a kettle, teapot, and pitcher. It looks especially beautiful with loose leaf teas, blooming teas, and dark colored fruit based teas (especially over a flame due to the glow).

Beautiful and useful
It's a beautiful teapot and very useful. Yes, you do have to remove the lid to pour, but despite that we have been using it for a year and we love it. It's clean and safe to use. If it's full we leave the lid off while boiling so it doesn't rattle. There has been no breakage or chipping whatsoever. We highly recommend it!

Se ve muy frágil. El vidrio es súper delgado.

Great non-toxic kettle
After being slowly poisoned by a disintegrating plastic filter surround in my stainless steel kettle, I searched for a completely plastic free alternative. This kettle is what I was looking for. It’s not as convenient as an electric kettle that switches off automatically and the lid does get hot but it’s worth the slight inconvenience to me. I’ll never go back to the toxic alternatives and highly recommend this beautiful glass kettle.

LOVE this teapot. Doesn't drip. Stove or microwave. Perfect size for one person.
I started drinking hot tea on a daily basis not long ago, in part to cut down on my wine consumption:) I was frustrated the tea in an open measuring cup and it getting cold before I could finish it. (I don't like putting my cup in the microwave. No clue why that bothers me.) Anyway, I wanted a teapot that could go on the stove or in the microwave either one. This is perfect. Nice thin, borosilicate glass. Very pretty. Not heavy. Tougher than it looks. I heat the water in the microwave for 3 minutes, steep for 3 or 4 minutes, throw away the teabag, sit the pot on a little electric mug warmer, and have a nice hot pot of tea good for two or three cups. Best part of all, the spout is so well designed that when I pour the tea and sit it back on the warmer, it only drips one tiny tiny drop of tea down the front of the pot. Dries before it gets to the bottom. No mess. Like it so much I bought another one to have at work.
