Wii U Compatible
Got this for use as a Wii U external hard drive along with a Y-Cable for powering it off amazon. Drive is very quick and works perfectly with the Wii U! I moved everything on the Wii U over to it to preserve the NAND, and have had zero issues with it. Using a Y-Cable there are no problems at all with the device powering up and working as expected.

Works for Wii
It's the best priced 2TB HDD to connect to a nintendo wii. Speed isn't really a factor for that use case, but it works quickly enough when I have it connected to my desktop in a USB 3.0. Typically 80-160mb/s.I've never been a fan of the micro USB 3.0 connector and this one is no exception. But for the price, and a brand name I trust to last a long time, I'll suffer through it.
