Q: How long is the "Extra Long" handle?

Hi, I estimate the handle to be 16 inches, plenty long to reach toilet easily, however I have discarded this item. due to how the stone is placed on the handle you can only use the very end of the stone which does not fit the curve of toilet bowls, gives you approximately 1 inch scrubbing surface and splashes water easily ( not what I want to be doing) Whole thing needs redesign. I have gone back to wet /dry sandpaper. Do not recommend this product

Q: Is this safe for septic systems?

I m not familiar with septic systems or what you would this for. I use this to get the hard water ring off the inside of the toilet.

Q: Does it scratch toilet bowl

It has not scratched my toilet bowls.

Q: is this just a piece of pumice with a handle? (I've found pumice does scratch porcelain.)

No. It dissolves so I don’t believe it is pumice. I have used these for a few years without scratching. I only use on toilets and I have a different type of the same product for my tub
