Must have!
This is a near perfect add-on for your pontoon trailer! It makes loading your boat a breeze even when there’s a breeze. Also, the guides stick out of the water high enough to give you something to see while you’re lining up the pontoon for loading. Don’t buy the other brands. I returned the last one because the bolts broke due to being too small for the job. The C. E. Smith brand is heavier, taller and uses rollers vs bunk boards. Installation is a snap and the results are worth it.

These things work great. Easy to install. I had to cut a couple inches off the square stock that mounts on the trailer but what a game changer. No more quiet rides home!

Great guides for 24 foot Tr-Toon.
Product is well made and hardware is the same as one would buy at a hardware store. Installed on a Tri-Toon. One man job using a quick clamp. Helps align the outside pontoons with the bunks quite well. Nothing on my trailer will survive a direct hit with 24 foot boat without bending. Pontoons require a slow, careful approach when loading. Much more challenging than my 21 foot ski boat, but with practice and patience it gets easier. These guides help with current and wind.30 day update. Game changer for a my Tri-Toon. You can feel the guides “catch”” the outside pontoons and hold them true as you advance up the trailer bunks. Strong current, wind and ignorant boaters and jet skiers making waves at the ramp are no longer a problem. Should be standard equipment on all pontoon trailers. Several other pontoon owners witnessed the effortless loading and stoped me to inspect the installation. Again, slow and careful for the initial contact. Highly recommended.

Hardware could be better quality
Ok. This is a two man job. Did it alone. Struggling tightening lock nuts n hardware and holding arms still while racheting nuts was a pain in the butt. The supports seem strong. Ubolts n hardware seem cheap. if they'd supply better quality hardware it would get 5 stars.

Don’t purchase
Follow the review of others, the guide-ons are too flimsy to take any sort of nudge by your pontoon. First time out the guides were barely bumped and were bent immediately.

You tube the install unless you are smarter than me...
3 stars for lack of directions... sure you can figure it out, and like me do attach it wrong ... it will still work BUT,... THE U BOLTS CRISS CROSS FLAT ONE ON THE BOTTOM TENTED ON TOP...

great assistant for loading pontoons.
great product. If I were to redesign this I would use a bit larger mounting bracket. I had to reposition one sidebecause it shifted on a windy day when loading.other then that one issue this product is a great addition for any pontoon trailer should come standard for the trailer.
