Together they keep the world warm, the gardens growing, and the sky full of beautiful rainbows. But one day they get into a fight and refuse to be in the sky together. And that means there are no longer any rainbows. Without rainbows, the colors start disappearing until Earth was left with no color … except for one little forgotten box of crayons in one little school desk. Determined to save the rainbows and fix the Sun and Clouds’ friendship, the crayons draw rainbows all over town. Their attempts go unnoticed. Soon they realize that they’re going to have to do something big to get the attention of the former friends. So, the crayons create the biggest rainbow they can and hope it’s enough to bring color back to the world. Your kids will love this
My grandkids have the first book in this series and it is one of their favorites. We take turns reading each page in a silly voice. I bought them 2 more in the series for Christmas gifts. I couldn’t wait and ended up giving them one. We found 2 more at a book fair at their school. You will love these as much as the kids. Just so funny.

This is a favorite in our house. I read it to my daughter’s preschool class and the kiddos were mesmerized (and so were the teachers)!

Nice story.
Nice story, but do not confuse this book with the ‘crayon’ books written by Drew Daywalt and illustrated by Oliver Jeffers - which we love.

Lovely friendship book!
Talks about working together to make a colourful place. Remembrance, apologies and gratitude are highlighted through our friendship with one another. A lovely tale that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. A great read!
