Recommande pour tous ceux qui veulent comprendre de manière simple les statistiques de base. Ouvrage en anglais mais facile à comprendre.

I chose this book because it occurred to me in my first year of Zoology that a clear understanding of statistics is essential for Biologists and Zoologists. This book starts from the very basics and doesn't assume you are a mathematical genius like most other statistic books have. Instead it introduces you step by step to different techniques and actually explains WHY certain methods are used and lots of examples are included to get your head around the topic.I've found that reading through it page by page like a book (especially the first few chapters) has given me a genuine understanding of stats and a steady foundation for the future, but targeting certain chapters is equally useful, so you don't feel that you have to read every single page to get to where you want to be.I would seriously recommend this to anyone who wants a healthy relationship with Statistics :)
