Blackfire Pro Detailers Choice BF-300-16 Paint Sealant, 16 oz.

I've used a lot if different waxes and finishes on my daily drivers and so far this has to be the best in terms of gloss, depth of finish and ease of applications. I used to use Zaino products but found that they just didn't last and they required quite a bit of work to apply.BlackFire went on easy. I've applied it to three different cars using a DA polisher on one application and hand applications on the other two. It worked well using both methods.The photo attached pretty much says it all when it comes to the optical qualities of this finish. It's the tailgate of my daily driver 2000 Durango. You are looking at 17 year old paint! I wish I could have attached a hi-res image because this one really doesn't begin to do it justice.All the reviews I've read suggest that BlackFire is durable and the finish lasts a long time. I am hoping for the best as we are in for another lousy Chicago winter!

This stuff works great! It's gorgeous on dark colors and really brings out the brilliance in the paint color. It's easy to apply and remove. Just tricky, like most products like this, to get out of time crevices if you are not careful when applying. Leaves paint feeling smooth to the touch and helps add a layer of protection.

Bought this after reading reviews on a car blog. Not the cheapest product you can find but not as bad as many that are not nearly as good. If your paint is in good shape and you want better protection and shine than just about anything else, this is the stuff. I don't know if it will revive aging finishes or hazing or other problems. I will say that if your car is clean and you follow directions, this product is absolutely amazing. You need VERY little, it goes on smoothly, covers well, comes off with ZERO effort/buffing, and leaves an incredible shine that LASTS. I can now simply wash the car and not always have to follow with a wax. Blackfire keeps on beading. Note that this is a sealant, not a wax. Can't recommend it strongly enough to anyone who cares about their car and how it looks.

Keeps the dirt off the car longer than other treatments we've used

Probably the most amazing sealant I have ever used. Used on a dark grey car after a thorough wash and clay bar and the paint has an amazing richness and depth. This is formulated for darker color cars but I have used it on an Estoril Blue (light blue) BMW as well with great results! Very easy to apply and very easy to remove by hand. The sealant lasts about 3 months on cars not garaged and even longer if garaged.

best sealant ever.You cannot go wrong with anything from Blackfire.I been testing many many (too many perhaps) different waxes/ selants and this hands down my favorite.easy to use, superior slick, and durable.Little big pricey side but you dont need much product to cover your car.Now I am almost using only blackfire products exclusively.

I have been a car detailing nut for the past twenty years and have used many different products along the way. Here is my assessment of Blackfire.1) This product goes on very easily and can be removed by hand or orbital buffer very easily.2) The product works great (as its namesake) on dark colored vehicles - the shine and reflective qualities are very good.3) The reason that I have given this product only three stars is that it lacks durability.4) After trying the product on several occasions, it is my personal opinion that products like Liquid Glass hold up longer and cost quite a bit less.5) I would not describe myself as disappointed--it is just that you can purchase another polymer off Amazon that will do the same job or better for less money.

Easy to use. It does create a jetting "wet look" on my silver Honda Accord. However, you are supposed to first wash, then clay the paint to get rid of embedded contaminants, and then polish before applying this product to achieve that "wet look". I did all of the above. I would recommend wearing gloves while applying this product since if some gets on your hands, it is hard to get the smell off. There is an inner seal that you must remove from the bottle first by unscrewing the cap and lifting out with a tooth pick (in the case where the seal gets caught in the cap). I recommend applying product in at least 50 degree temperatures or warmer. And have two days of no rain to allow the product to "cure" fully. It can be applied directly after polishing, however, if you want to top your car with carnauba wax or a second coat of Blackfire, you must wait at least 8 hours for the product to cure. Once you apply wax, you can not apply anymore Balckfire. Once cured, it leaves a very slick feel to the car paint (assuming you clay bared first).
