Got this test to use on my homebound mother after having a home phlebotomy service no call, no show. The test directions were clear and easy to understand. We collected the specimen on a Tuesday morning and dropped it off at UPS. We were informed the sample was received the next morning (Wednesday)and had results by that afternoon! I was amazed. Will be definitely using more of these tests. Great value quick turn around, highly recommend.

I bought the kit, followed the instructions to the letter, registered two days before I sent it back and waited for over a week with no response. I called and was put on hold for over a half hour with no response. I sent an email and was told I didn't register when they finally got it straightened out it was 2 weeks until they did the test which by that time the sample was probably spoiled.So 70 bucks gone and they don't give refunds

Like other reviews, just be prepared to poke yourself multiple times, I know they said run some hot water and that will help,BS. I used all 4 of the finger pricks then had to cut myself to get enough blood.

I've had a few Let's Get Checked tests, so I already had an account which is easy to set up. You get a card with a number if you want to take the test anonymously. I like having an account that I can keep all my information in. If I want I can download the tests into PDF form to take to the doctor. On Sunday the box arrived and I registered the number in my account. That activated the test. On Monday, I got my son to help me prick my finger because the lances that they provide go a bit deeper than a glucose blood sugar lancet. It's easy but I'm scared of those things. One prick was enough to feel the little tiny tube of blood that I had to send back. I took the test about 5:00 a.m. and got it to UPS when they opened at 8:00 a.m. everything to include the test results is in the box with good directions and a postage paid UPS label that's already on a plastic bag that you put your test in. The next day I got the email they had received my test and the day after that I got my results which showed one abnormal value (Which is not new/was expected.) The whole process only took from Monday AM,until Wednesday at 8:30 AM. I would recommend this to anyone who has fairly easy access to a UPS drop off site. I used to UPS store which is very close, so there was very little trouble with my getting the test back to the company.

The test seems very good and hopefully accurate. Once the test is completed and your results come in you will not get any further assistance, they told me to take the test to my GP to know how to read the paperwork.

I think these at home tests are a great idea if they don't keep you from seeing your doctor. It's a great way to keep tabs on health concerns you may have.Keep in mind that this is test kit does require a blood sample. If your squeamish about those sorts of things, and have concerns about your kidneys, you should probably just see a doctor. The kit has very well written directions and there is also a link with the kit to a video that walks you through each step. The first step is to setup an account online and activate your sample kit. I started this process in the evening, not knowing that sampling is best done in the morning. The website allowed me to choose a time the next morning to have them text me a reminder. That worked well, otherwise I likely would have forgotten. (I wonder if LetsGetChecked makes brain tests?)After reading the directions and watching the video, I still struggled to get enough blood out of my finger for the sample vile. That is until I figured out how to do it. It worked best for me if I really squeezed hard just below the bottom knuckle of my finger. I spent 25 minutes and three lancets with very little production up until that point. I held my hand low and massaged but just not hard enough to accomplish much. After I started squeezing harder, the task was done in no time.Do keep in mind that you should not throw away the box as your sample must be returned using this. The kit includes a prepaid UPS mailer envelope. Results take about 3 or 4 days.
