Great helmet
Our 4-yr-old has a huge dome so we had to let a big-kids helmet to fit him and he loved this one. He wore it around the house for two days. It was relatively easy to adjust the sizing - would be even easier on an actual big kid who can sit still for a couple minutes. The color, as other reviewers have mentioned, is different in person. The green is more day-glo, with a very yellowy cast yo it and the red is actually orange. Would have preferred green and red to go with the PJ mask colors, but the bicycle we got was blue so at least that went with it well enough.Comfort wise, our kid didn’t mind the strap under his chin which is a big win because he’s kind of picky about stuff. And it was super lightweight with plenty of ventilation holes to help minimize heat retention.

Basic helmet
I purchased two helmets for my 6 and 8 year old. Overall “ok” for the money but here’s the down falls:Bought the flourecent green and red one- faded SOOOOOO bad over 3 months the helmet is a pale yellow color. Blue one is fine no fading. ? Weird. Blue has strap issues- the buckle repeatedly comes loose and is deamed unsafe because it doesn’t do up. By some miracle we haven't lost one of the buckle sides so we can thread it back through the tether and get it tight for a bike ride. But then it comes loose every time and falls off. Helmets are very light weight which is good but then you wonder what the quality is when your kids really needs it. We ride a lot and so should have bought better helmets. If you do low risk biking this is fine. Toddlers it’s fine. Kids that are doing road biking and high risk trails- not.Would not buy again. Go spend the extra 20$ on a licensed helmet from a reputable store.

Attractive!
My grandson loved his gift, especially the flashy colors, and also the fit & comfort of the soft piece that goes under chin.
