Arrived yesterday.Looks great, heavy duty as well. Time will tell how it lasts.5 stars for now

Has a completely flat and a grooved side. Both with logos. A lovely heavy board and is a joy to use and look at.

Looks very good cleans easily and great for cutting on a great appealing accessory to the kitchen.

Attractive, solid, easy to cleen - (wipe don't soak). Seems to be keeping my damascus chef knife good and sharp.

After almost 9 months of use looked after well too. Dried after each use naturally by wiping and keeping in the air. The cutting board bowed slightly. So it moves when cutting.

I’m still sitting on the fence with this board. I wanted to go for a different look and feel as I still have my old faithful (oak) chopping board which has stood the test of time. But fancied something that looks more “refined”. This delivers in the appearance stakes. It certainly looks the part. However, it doesn’t have that “rough” feel that you would normally get with real wood, or even end wood. (I also own an end board too but too large for everyday use). It’s very shiny (excessively so) and thus quite slippery but am hoping over time with a bit of bashing it will start to take on a less slippy surface. I did try to see how it reacted with mineral oil and it just sat on the surface. It didn’t sink in/penetrate as I would expect. I suppose it’s the varnish used (should varnish be used on a board like this??). For the price and the uncertainty of the structure it gets 3 stars from me. Based on appearance, weight (quite heavy as expected), and size (perfect size for every day chopping). If you like to chop several items all at once I would go for a bigger board.

Solid.. it’s a chopping board and performs as one without having aspirations to be anything else.
