Good for power supply cube and knowing there is power. Problem for outlet strips.
This has the advantage that one of its three outlets is further away from the other two than they are from each other thus allowing the one to be used for a power supply cube without blocking the other two. It also has the advantage that it has an indicator light thus enabling you to know when the outlet it is plugged into has power. It has the disadvantage that when plugged into an outlet strip or surge protector, the body of this device may extend to right next to the hole for the ground pin of one of the outlets next to the outlet it is plugged into thus enabling only an ungrounded plug to be plugged into that outlet.

Should Be More Compact
This adapter was larger than I expected. It worked well for my needs, but it might get in the way of large ac plugs.

didn't fit into my outlet
I don't know what the problem was but these absolutely would not fit into my wall socket. I pushed as hard as I was comfortable with pushing and they wouldn't go in so I returned them
