The magnifying light has different shades of light . Really pleased with purchase

It's a well made product and does a good job

We bought it for our 91yo father. The on/off switch is a touch switch. The “switch” is on the top of the light. So, using it as a stationary desk light for a mobility impaired person makes accessing the “switch” awkward. And, for someone unused to touch switches, it was a menace. The lamp offers multiple light “color” options. However, you have to cycle through all color options to turn on/turn off the light…that got annoying pretty quickly. It also offers a dimming option. This is managed using the same on/off, choose-your-color switch. You tap to turn on/off or cycle through the color options, but hold it to dim or brighten. But you often end up changing the color when you dim…and then have to cycle through all the settings to get back to where you want it. We had to find a different option for our dad. We can likely use it ourselves. Also, the photograph makes the magnifying portion look much bigger than it is. The base seems sturdy. We used the clip, which secured it well.

I suspect the seller has misunderstood 10x magnification for 10 dioptre, which are not the same thing. The product leaflet says it's 8x magnification, but it absolutely is not this. I suspect it's 1.75 - 2.25x magnification max. I note all the sellers are making similar claims, all of which I suspect are false. It's not well made. The springs are cheap and the movement is not smooth, not good enough for an item at this price. A reasonable product if sold at £20 but not for £60.

Easy to put together - one counter sink screw in the bottom to tighten up and your away. Simple function for on/off, colour and dimmer. Looks great with a kind of graphite feel finish. Magnifying glass and brightness are perfect for intricate jobs.

If you extend the arm, it becomes unstable and falls over. Needs a heavier base.

I have my magnifying glass lamp on my desk. I make jewelry and I do crafts that are small so I use it all the time and I appreciator so much! I’ll never be without one!

Helpful 8x magnification with 3 adjustable color temperatures to prevent eye fatigue. Intuitive touch controls. My sole negative is occasional overheating on highest brightness setting. But the crystal clarity and versatility drastically outshine that one drawback, especially given the wallet-friendly price! Overall a superb visual aid upgrade for challenging tasks requiring precision.

als Lupe für meine Zwecke weniger gut. Zum Lesen funktioniert sie gut. Ich wollte damit kleine Modelle bemalen. Mir war allerdings nicht bewusst, dass die Lupe die 3 D Sicht aufhebt. Pinsel und Figur zu treffen ist eher Zugall jetzt. Die Vergößerung an sich funktioniert aber gut.

As elderly person, tinkerer, Computer builder and an Amazon Vine reviewer, I have found this excellent magnifying glass to be indispensable! Here's why:As a reviewer, I am often obliged to read what now passes off as "instructions" for many electronic products. Even with my reading glasses and a small magnifier, some of these "manuals" are virtually impossible to read and, in many cases, the product cannot be assembled or properly evaluated without this information.Before I acquired this magnifying glass, I came up with a rather elaborate and time-consuming solution to this problem -- I scanned the English portion of the "manual" and, after using graphics software to enlarge it and either store it as a PDF document or print it out. This "enlarged" version both helped to to read and follow the requisite instructions and provided me with a document that could be easily be stored either on my PC or in an appropriate folder.The problem with this elaborate system is that it took precious time away from my assembling and learning how to use and properly evaluate some of the items.Also, I have found, from painful experience, that these "mini-manuals" are quite easy to lose and/or misplace and, in many cases, if one cannot find these instructions, it's difficult or impossible to figure out how to assemble or use the product! Since most or many of the electronic items I have chosen come from China, there is no way for me to find and download another manual!And then I discovered, ordered and started using this wonderful magnifying glass!Now I can read and follow the instructions on the original manuals. I can also scan and enlarge these tiny booklets, after I test the products and write my reviews.I also can use the magnifying glass for other projects, including adding RAM to my laptops, repairing my dog's collar, examining postage stamps, fixing my watch and many other activities.To tell the truth, I am starting to wonder how I lived without it!
