Yes it has a detatchable face plate.. its easy to take off some what akward to put back on. it also doesnt come with a face plate case but is a great cd player

Morning, I would suggest buying it. Reason being - if you need it, and you are having the new unit installed at say, Best Buy - the cost of the wiring harness from them - could be 29.99 - not including installation cost.

yes and it will do more, play your ipod, mp3 player anything you can pplug a chord into and it reads disks perfect no skips no distortion. very very good stereo
