Autodesk 3ds Max 2013 Bible

I have used Autodesk AutoCad for many years, and 3DS Max was included in a suite. The last time I used 3D Studio was more than a decade ago, so I needed something to bring me up to speed. This book meets my needs.

Ich schliesse mich dem Kommentar hier an. Bin etwas enttäuscht von diesem Buch. Es ist zu sehr angelehnt an die Hilfe, welche bei 3DS Max kostenlos dabei ist. Dann ist es ausserdem nicht strukturiert genug.Ganz schlecht: Es gibt eine CD mit Inhalt um die Tutorials durchzuarbeiten. Diese erhält man gegen Vorlage der Quittung per E-Mail, man kann also den Inhalt nicht einfach irgendwo downloaden.Hier sollte Amazon von vorne herein dafür sorgen, dass man den Content erhält. Zumal die Inhalte nichts Besonderes sind.Am besten habe ich persönlich 3DS Max per Videos im Internet erlernt. Teilweise sind die Anbieter allerdings etwas teuer.Aber für ein Buch welches als Bible bezeichnet wird, dadurch sehr hohe Erwartungen weckt, ist dieses Buch doch arg enttäuschend.

This book is a really great reference book. You get to a stage where you have learnt the basics but the program is so vast that it will take years to understand it fully, this is where this book works well, it has a great index and is easy to find tutorials and descriptions of tools. I have read the whole chapter on lighting and it is a really great learning tool too with some excellent tutorials with the files included on the disk.I started with Learning Autodesk 3ds Max Design 2010 Essentials but I found this to be a bit rubbish and so learnt with a combination of online tutorials on YouTube and this book.

Book arrived in perfect condition, but the product itself is a waste of time. Essentially is a manual for the program in question, which is provided free by autodesk anyway.
