Excelvan Portable HD Video Projector (Black)

Definitely a bargain for the price. The projector is exactly what I was looking for. The bulb is bright enough so it doesn’t have to be completely dark, the picture is adjustable to find that sweet spot of crispness, and the unit is compact and light weight enough to be hung on any kind of shelving. The only down side is that my unit has a slight curve in the upper left corner when projecting. Possibly the lens was dented ever so slightly during shipping. None the less, 5 star product.

It isn't bad, easy to use and decent software but I returned mine for a few reasons. The focus knob wasn't smooth, there is at least one spot that would click loudly and slip a fairly significant sis tan even when focusing, the fan isn't quiet, it outputs about 480p and supports input from 1080 (this is my fault, the description confused me) and the main reason was that the focus seemed to slip during use. I'm hoping the focus slip was device specific. It is decently bright but overall the downsides pushed me to return it.

I've owned it for a year but have only been using it daily since July 2017. Starting in August of 2017, a brownish circle started on the right side of the projected image and has slowly grown to half the screen. I have cleaned the lens but it looks as though the issue is inside the projector. As of late November, early December, it keeps turning off. Sometimes within minutes of turning it on, sometimes after a while so I doubt it is heat related. If I leave it unplugged for a time, it will eventually turn on. I had to purchase another brand as a replacement because it started failing at least once a day. I guess LED bulbs and their associated lifetime are only as good as the supporting electronics. I would not buy the brand again.

As an entry level projector I could not have asked for more. Its perfect for movies, gaming and sporting events preferably in low light settings. The fan runs a little loud which for me would be the only complaint with this unit. Overall I am very happy and feel the price is perfect for what I wanted. for $140 I have a great almost 100' viewing area in my living room. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for an entry level quality projector.

This was the third projector w bought in month because the others did not work well. This one, however, works great! The image is very clear and bright even with a bedroom lamp on. We're behappy with this projector to date

I bought this unit in Late 2017. Within one year it developed a dark spot on the right half of the screen. Since then is has grown and the image is barely watchable. I contacted Amazon, who told me to contact the seller. I have done that a few times over the last year with no response whatsoever. The listing states a two year warranty including customer support. What good is that if they won't respond? Not happy!

This product is great. The focus is definitely off. When you sharpen the image on the top, the bottom blues just slightly. This isn’t noticeable when watching movies or TV, but for video gaming it is a little annoying, especially if you’re playing Breath of the Wild or a game like that where reading is necessary. We use it almost daily for watching movies and Netflix. Great product and the price is insane.

Pros: - Cheap and affordable, (not recommended for professional presentations) - Works well, and have various options for audio and video inputs (analog, VGA, HDMI) Cons: - the unit is heavy and huge - Loud fan noises - Gets hot quickly after about 30 min observed during below room temperature operations - sound quality is not clear (was using HDMI) - Display quality is pixalated and most noticeable when displaying subtitles and other text - Color and contrast is tolerable only when color temperature is set to max for warm colors to display more red. (used in fully dark room) In Depth Analysis: It is really big and heavy, and the fan is very loud. I have been using this projector in a room temperature of around 60 degree F on autum and winter days (common room temperature is 70 ish degree), and it gets really hot after about 30 min of usage. The audio is not very crisp. I had only ever used this in a completely dark room at night time. As for the display quality, it is no very clear. The display is very pixelated and can easily strain the eyes when observing text. The colors are not very vibrant, even at the warmest color temperature settings. You get what you pay for. I got this on sale when it was around 120$ I regret buying it, and wished that I spent a hundred dollars more to get a higher quality one.
