Sir Robin Knox-Johnston is a fascinating, inspiring man and his autobiography reflects this. I enjoyed reading his latest book very much!!

Amazingly detailed account of the life of a hero of mine. Couldn't put it down

Sir Robin Knox-Johnston gives an informative and entertaining account of his life at sea, starting as a small boy with a fascination for water. Not only is his autobiographical story interesting, the narrative keeps the reader glued to the book with its steady pace and humorous anecdotes. His recollections of his early years at sea tell of an era that disappeared so quickly after WW2. Hopefully his enthusiasm will encourage more young people to "go down to the sea in ships"!
