Let's take a look into the life of the rich vs. the life of those just trying to get by. Jess Spaulding is the director of marketing at Magnate, a company her father founded. TJ Blake has been assigned to Jess as an intern. Everywhere they go, Jess comes across as being a silly ninny and just put in a position because she's her father's daughter. TJ and Jess start hanging out together and of course where there's smoke, there's fire. There are flames and you'll need a hanky.

If you are expecting mindless novel, replica of what's already out there, this isn't it. Dont worry though, you will be entertained. This book include not only romance but also intellectual subjects without being overbearing or preaching. A nice balance of something that is fun to read but also makes me think about life.As far as I'm concern this book worth every penny. Also check out "Like Jazz". It's also very well written.I hope Ms. Blackmore will write a short story about the characters on this book. Like extra seasons story maybe? or a novel about either Muriel or Carmella?

I LOVED this book. The book was well written, the story was very good and I loved the main characters Jessica and TJ. The story was well paced and the author did a great job in keeping the pace going and not getting lost in secondary characters. While the plot revolves around the financial world, the author does a fantastic job of explaining the financial twists just enough to be understandable and move the plot along (Seriously I'm talking fewer than 5 pages). This is one of those books that I hope so much that Jess and TJ show up in another book (and Muriel would make a great character for a future book). Bottom line, buy this book.

I have totally loved all of Heather’s books and this one is truly amazing. Great story. Wonderful characters. A fantastic plot with quite a twist. Not to be missed!

This is the first novel I have read by this author but it will not be my last. I look forward to reading her other novel. The character development was very well done and made you feel as if these people could be your friends.

Spaulding Enterprises from CBS Guiding Light and love read about women with money and Power - CEO, queens Princess,then course the go off track. Would have been nice to know where they settled down. Did they upgrade or did they move into TJ & Kara place Jessica did not have one anymore.Her sister tans out of the country - cover her ass

This was a very good book. I liked the way the author explained the mechanics of the finance industry. I like the way she developed her characters. The relationship that developed between TJ and Jess was very sweet. I also liked the supporting characters like Kara, Dillon and even Muriel. It would be nice to have a spinoff story about Muriel.Very nice book.

I like this author, I liked the premise of the story, I struggled a bit with the characters though as they were on the edge of caricatures for me going too far or being a bit too unbelievable, the overall story saved the book.

A really great read. Jess is an amazing character. I couldnt stop reading it it kept me captivated to the end
