Anderson Powerpole Connectors 20 pair

These seem to work very well, very clever design. A much better option for 12V electrical connection than the terrible "Cigarette lighter" plug.

Struggled to understand these for a while but figured them out and now I know - these are like LegoTM for grown ups! They really are simple, foolproof and easy to use. First size - or rather current. They are supplied for use at up to 15A, 30A or 45A. I understand max voltage is 240v but please check your application depending on Volta, Amos, Frequency and AC or DC. Put it like this - you can’t go wrong if you are using them domestically and buy the right amperage for your application. Now the physical. These are unisex, or, bisexual, depending on your choice! That’s because the plastic parts already have contacts inside. What you do is to crimp (or solder but check out suitable crimp tools, they are cheap enough) your wire to a bare metal crimp. Then slide the crimp into the right plastic red or black sleeve from the end without the metal piece inside. That’s it, job done. Except... get two or more crimps done and now you can slide together multiple plastic connectors - just like Lego - to make your own unique shaped multi-connector. These “connector blocks” can then be slotted together as if they were custom made connector sets. Now you know why people love them! I just wish there was a mini, 5A version and a complimentary waterproofing solution, then I’d only ever need one type of connector in my toolbox. Enjoy!

Authentic Anderson connectors, not knock offs. Simple to use. Strip a little off the wire stick it in the pin and crimp. Click it in the plastic adapter and you're good to go. Saw others complaining about problems crimping or breaking pins, I don't see that being an issue unless you're trying to rush things. Work can be fast, cheap, and/or good; but you can only pick two of the three.
