My cats love this little spider critter cat toy. They go bonkers over it: chasing, pouncing, stalking, carrying it like prey. Like any toy, it has to be rotated so they don't get bored, but so far, this one has been a HUGE hit day after day. I've found it works (and "moves") best without the pole, but it might just be what my cats like. I highly recommend this toy. You and your cats won't be sorry!ps. I'm buying another one to have as a backup because they enjoy it so much.

My Bengal cat loves this toy. I had to hide it in a cabinet. Then he figured out how to open the cabinet to get it himself. Great quality. Holds up to lots of abuse. Beautifully made and lovely to look at too.

This bug is my cats favorite toy I bought 3 just in case it got destroyed but so far this little bug has been chewed on dragged everywhere and it still looks brand new great little toy!

REVISION OF REVIEW: I used to buy the Neko flies attachments for my cats and was disappointed when they went out of business. So happy Rompicatz has picked them up! There is a great selection of prey-like attachments for the pole that look like centipedes, dragonflies, small red & black bugs, butterflies and this combination of bird & bug. This catipeede is my cats’ favorite. They will chase it like crazy for as long as I will keep it moving. The catipeede used to be exceptionally durable, with the 2 sections connected by small interlocking metal loops, which held up to vigorous play. At this much higher price point than other similar toys, you expect durability. The new catipeede sections are connected by some kind of weak plastic and they break within a few days. I just bought my last replacement catipeede. $20+ for a toy that only lasts a few days is just absurd. The other toys seem to be more durable. ROMPICATZ - please go back to the durable metal connectors for this toy. I will not waste money on this.

My cat LOVES this toy! He is 13 years old and has never wanted to play with anything like he does this bird bug. He purrs constantly when playing with it and looks for it when we have put it up. I ordered the mouse for him since he loves this one SO much. Great job to the designer!

My cats love this toy so I bought one for my grand kitties. It is higher priced than most but it is well made and has lasted a couple of years now. It reminds me of handmade fishing flies.

Our cats have been enjoying this line of toys from when we first came across them on a trip to Japan under the NekoFlies label. They are excellent quality and have survived trial by Bengals for many years. (Most toys don’t stand up to that kind of onslaught.) Our original butterfly lure recently lost a couple of wings to our newest fur-baby, a very large Maine Coon kitten. It just wasn’t as alluring with only the one, so I came looking for a replacement. I was really pleased to see these toys are still around and available. Although under different name(s) now, the new Cattimoth is the same great design and quality as the original, so I expect it to fare just as well. I fully recommend this line of toys, there is a lure to appeal to every cat and they are well worth the money.
