Loved this book, couldn't put it down very absorbing and the most beautifully written story. Amusing but very emotional too. Enjoyed it very much.

I read the reviews and looked forward to reading this book.It was ok, that’s all.I just could not believe in it.

Absolutely wonderful written book and extremely emotional which was very unexpected

I read a few chapters and the book showed such a bleak outlook of growing old, I didn’t finish reading it. I cried too many tears for the gentleman in the story. I don’t read books to cry. If I want to feel sadness, I’ll just do real life but at least that have many positives.I’m sure it got better as it got to the point, but at this time, I didn’t want the sadness during the Covid lock up!

A heart warming and at times heart breaking story of an old man and a young boy who both, with diseased hearts, create a bond that even an eventual death cannot sever. This is a truly uplifting story that is written with great passion and compassion; a book I struggled to set aside even when the need to eat or sleep became quite literally overwhelming. I will give nothing of the story away, but say only that I would grant it more than five stars if I could.
