Lovely color
I have mostly white hair with gray patches. This color softened the gray and slightly tinted the white. The look is softer than before.

L'oreal Preference Paris Couture Rose Gold Blonde
My goal with this color was to cancel out the green tinge I had from using ash blonde once too often, and it did do that. Result was a nice soft gold blonde with the slightest touch of red. Covered all grays too (am about 10% gray). BUT--extreme scalp irritation! And I've used every other L'oreal hair color product with very little irritation: Feria, Dream Blonde, Excellence, the regular Preference line. It's 3 days later and my scalp is still irritated. Also seems to be more hair loss than with the others. So I am bummed out because I really like this color...anyway if you have very sensitive skin you may want to avoid this one.

Loreal Pref 8RG is Beautiful, but fails to cover grey / white hair
Loreal Preference 8RG rose-gold is a beautiful color, not brassy, not orange, not pink, but a soft warm and natural look. The "rose" component is mild, and could be "beefed up a bit" for my tastes.Actually my hair processed a lighter color than shown, possibly because I have about 25% grey, along with "dishwater" deep mousie blonde natural hair. I am giving this 8RG rose gold color 5 stars for the color proposed, WITHOUT HAVING GREY HAIR. Sadly, my white / grey hair, at the roots, and along the hairline by my face REMAINS GREY AND WHITE (for the last (3) three months of repeated extended times worth of coloring,Loreal's claim for 100% grey coverage is a falsehood, for me. Also, it was a falsehood for my mother, after multiple attempts with various Loreal Preference colors, and having tried leaving it on for a torturous full 45-50 extended minuties to cover grey hair, as directed..I desired this color so much, I order several month's supply. Now, in search of a grey hair remedy, today I am ordering (via Amazon.com) the "Ardell's" grey drop additive for all haircoloring. I really hope it works, or I will be discontinuing Loreal haircoloring products. I will still use Loreal's hairspray, with the finest sprayer. Also, the ammonia fumes, from Loreal's haircoloring, is SO overpowering, it surely cannot be good to breath it, burning my eyes, nasal and respiratory track. So, I am considering changing to Nutriese Garnieir products, without the ammonia fumes, and better grey coverage. (But, Nutriese does not have any Medium Rose Gold color,......yet). (Maybe, I'll try experimenting in mixing a touch of red with Nutriese's medium golden blonde. (?)

Beautiful my favorite ever.
Love love love love. I've dyed and highlighted myself a lot over the years. This rose gold is perhaps my favorite color ever. My natural hair is dark blond and wavy. I had highlights but about two or three inches of roots because I was sick of them. I had also relaxed my hair about 8 weeks ago. It turned out the best on my darker roots. Beautiful rose color, lighted a bit from my darker blond. The highlights did not take much of the dye. Rather it colored them a cooler shade that blends nicely with the roots. You can still see the transition, but I plan on doing this color again in a couple weeks to help with that. If you want the rose color, I would only suggest this for darker blondes. It does not take well or show much rose on lighter colors that may be the issue for others who said where's my rose color? You could probably dye a dark blonde first, then color with this. This is as rose as you'll get without looking unnatural.

Expired product!
Packaging look old and different, but name of color was the same, so I decide to use it. Plastic bottle with color just cracked in my hand in many places after first squeeze, thats how old this product is.

Nice color
If you have any red in your hair, do not use this color. The formula is very good and not drying, but I have auburn/graying hair and wanted to lighten it so that the white/gray blend better while growing out. The Rose gold descriptor is the key with the emphasis on the Rose (read as red).

Not sure
Wasn’t sure what to give this product I followed whatever I was supposed to know I had to start with my roots so I did that. IT STARTED BURING MY SCALP. I panicked washed it within 10 mins and you were supposed to keep for 45 mins. Surprisingly in that 10 mins it had lighten my hair! I wish I could use this hair colour but apearently there’s a chemical in this dye I can’t use. If I had kept it for 45 mins I would get my desired colour but unfortunately didn’t happen because of burning. I used aloe Vera to calm my scalp wasn’t enough I had to put ice and also a Tylenol.
