Our Troth: Heathen History

So chock full of incredibly interesting stuff which is laid out in an easily digestible manner - much like that cool college professor everyone loves listening to. It is truly hard to put down! I have many books on Northern Pagan history, and this one is easily the most in-depth, yet accessible that I have found.The only flaw I can find so far is a number of editorial errors (misspelling, missing sentence pieces or repeated sentences). I am sure these will be corrected before the next printing though, so I maintain the 5 stars.One other personal issue is that the cover design resembles my old Cub Scout Handbook and uniform from the 90s, and I keep getting flashbacks. Thats just a problem though. Haha.

This book is not only well written but stripped of all of the nonsense that permeates heathenry. It uses historical and well referenced material for the reader to gain insight how things are not always how they are portrayed not only in Hollywood but by misguided bigots that tarnish the faith. Outstanding starting point for someone just starting out and curious in either the faith or even just the history of Northern Europe.

I can't wait to dive into this book.
