An interesting read for young girls and boys!
This story is full of adventure, fun, curiosity, and thrill with many moral lessons to be learnt. Also, the interesting pictures and vivid descriptions are commendable. The Main character of Sophia, though depicted as 11 years old, seems to be quite mature in understanding the situations and finding the solutions. She doesn't have a mother and his father is a perfect example of "How NOT to be a Father?". His lack of empathy towards her daughter reflect her snobbish and relentless attitude. It was already known that the island could be dangerous, but he took the risk of the life of the daughter. Island, full of magic and magical creatures( friendly and unfriendly both) put Sophia in all the unpleasant situations where she has to learn magic to save not only her life but the life of others. Another character of Silimon, a tree boy, who helps Sophia, is a very strong and inspiring character. He teaches Sophia numerous lessons to survive on the strange lsland. There is a strong lesson of humanity which awakens the soul to do something for others. However, young minds need far more understanding to grasp the things fully, so a reader like a parent or a teacher can guide them better for certain situations on the story. I found it equally interesting for both young girls and boys since my young nieces and nephews loved to listen to this story. So, I would really appreciate the author for an amazing job of keeping the text engaging and interesting.

Sophia Freeman and the Mysterious Fountain is the first book in a magical and entertaining series
Sophia is an 11-year-old girl and it’s easy to relate to her. She’s lost her mom recently and her dad, though very rich, is very out of touch. Sophia is an amazing fantasy artist but her dad doesn’t take an interest in her talent. He buys an island and takes Sophia to visit. She’s instantly absorbed into the life and magic of the island. She runs into danger but also finds protectors. She’s defended by a tree-boy named Silamon – though he’s really a human boy named Tim, who had been Sophia’s friend before he got to the island.Humans aren’t supposed to be able to live on the island. There is a complex society of magical beings and it’s a good thing that Silamon is there to protect Sophia, and teach her magic. He’s also really wise and selfless. Sophia is unsure of a lot when she gets to the island – understandable, because it seems that her dad has deserted her there. But by the end she grows a lot and starts to perceive her own power and value her own worth. The writing of this book is appropriate for kids around Sophia’s age or younger and I think they will enjoy it a lot. The illustrations are cool. The writer really brings the vivid world and magic of the island to life. This is the first book of a series, ending with a cliffhanger, and I think readers will really want to find out what happens to Sophia and Tim next!

A Wonderful Fantasy Story!
To start off, Sophia Freeman And The Mysterious Fountain is a lovely book! It tells a very captivating story in a world that is exceptionally imaginative and deeply mysterious.Even though there are so many fantasy novels out there, it seems like most of them have pretty familiar and cliched worlds. But, Sophia Freeman And The Mysterious Fountain is different, because the world its set in is very distinct, with all kinds of unique creatures and landscapes that feel truly fantastical and unique, rather than being a rehash of tired tropes. The story is very compelling and very fun! None of the language in the book is too complex or elaborate - making it great for young readers - but it always serves a purpose and continues to move the story along while elaborating on the world, characters, and situations. I really loved the simple descriptions and overall conciseness of the writing; it made the book so easy-to-read and, because of that, it’s a real page-turner!In the end, if you’re looking for a wonderful fantasy book that takes place in a unique and distinctive world, then I think you’ll really like Sophia Freeman And The Mysterious Fountain!

Venturesome Tale Featuring Beautiful Artwork
Sophia Freeman and the Mysterious Fountain is a story of adventure and magic. The book portrays good lessons, such as not judging by appearances, and features persevering characters. Silimon provides a particularly captivating element to the story.I appreciate the artwork, which helps the reader visualize the creatures mentioned throughout the book. This story would, perhaps, even translate better as a graphic novel. There are some punctuation and grammatical issues. While there is an interesting concept, some editing would better solidify the story. Sophia’s character also does not resonate with me as a mere 11 years old, but seems more comparable to an older teenager.Overall, I believe an upper elementary or middle school level readers would enjoy this story. It is easy to read and provides its consumer with an adventurous tale.
