Classy looking, good converstion piece
New York Times Cover for Kindle Fire, Liberty Face I bought this case after I purchased the Fire, I originally didn't think I would have even needed one but then realized I better play it safe and protect the front screen. The case build seems solid enough and does hold the Fire in place which is what it was designed to do.Two dislikes that I have with it are;1. When you fold over the front flap it doesnt line up with the back flap, I dont know why that is, its strange.2. There is no front locking strap like the cases have for the Kindle Keyboard have on them.Other than these two issues I like the case very much, it certainly draws attention to itself when your out and about in the coffee shops. I gave the case Three stars due to the two dislikes I have. I am though a little concerned about the two covers not lining up, not sure if this is a sign that the case will hold up or split in the future.

Great Cover
I've had this case for a year now and love it. I take my kindle everywhere with me and even though it doesn't have a strap or anything to keep it closed, I haven't had a problem with it falling open or scratching the screen. The only complaint I have about it, is that I ordered the Brooklyn Bridge version and received the Liberty Face instead.

Offers the Most Screen Protection
I bought this cover when I first ordered my Kindle Fire. Both the front and back cover are very `hard' which seems, to me, to offer the best protection for the Kindle Fire Screen. In an attempt to get some `color' into the picture, I have since ordered other covers, of other brand names, for the Kindle Fire - which don't seem to provide nearly the hard-cover protection, for the Fire, that this one does.So I always go back to this cover. I keep it closed with a simple rubber band and it works fine.I highly recommend this for protection of your kindle Fire.

Nice looking but has strong chemical odor...
This is a very nice looking cover for my new fire but inside black suede material smells strongly (nauseating chemical dye smell). It makes it hard for me to spend much time using the kindle fire unless I take it out of this cover (which defeats the purpose of having it). I've aired it out for over a week and it still has strong smell.

love it
I read the reviews before purchasing and continued to search. After searching other covers decided on Ms. Liberty and I am completely satisfied. Yes upon opening there is a chemical smell that goes away in less then 24 hours. The fit is snug which is great for the kindle fire, its not a cheap device so you want it secured. Picture is beautiful and the case is worth every cent, I love it!

LOVE this Kindle Fire case!!!!!
This is an amazing case for my Kindle Fire!!! I REALLY wanted the Brooklyn Bridge case, but it was a 2-3 month wait. So, getting the Statue of Liberty case is just as good! :) It's a nice case - really protects the Fire from getting scratched. It's just the perfect case!Thank you, Amazon!!!! You hit a home-run with the Kindle Fire AND the case :)

Great company, great product, just don't clean it.
The picture of Lady liberty was washed away when seltzer water spilled on the cover an whipped away...gone!Yes the case itself is great, but I got it for the picture of Lady Liberty.

New York Times Case Cover for Kindle Fire, Liberty Face
This seems to be a well made, good quality cover. The Kindle is held securely in place and protected from falls, etc. The buttons and speakers are easily accessible at all times. Much better than the "Brand X" that I bought originally. And the topping is looking at Lady Liberty when the Kindle is closed!
