I mean, there's a lot of similar options on Amazon and it's kind of hit or miss for a cheap knockoff if you don't know.This brand is a quality product. No rough edges or weak parts. It's balanced and instead of being a silly "gadget" like some combined systems, it's actually really effective in all it's variations. Plus it breaks down for minimal storage which is really the reason to buy a set like this. 👍

If you're just getting into weightlifting, or even have been casually into it for a while, this seems so far to be a nice quality set that can grow with you for a while to come, while allowing for a fair bit of convenience and versatility. I know I for sure won't be outgrowing 33 lbs per arm anytime soon! 😄It does pretty much what you'd hope/expect for it to. Works well in both the dumbbell and barbell configurations. Screwing the parts together can take a bit of time due to the lengths of the threads, especially if you only put the minimum number of weights, but that's the tradeoff you get for them securely combining.If you torque the wingnut holding in the weights solidly finger tight, it doesn't come loose or acquire any slack through regular use. If you use your hands to specifically try to rotate the weights while they're locked in, they can rotate in place, but again it's not something that's going to happen while you're normally using them.It came with all the advertised weight amounts. I'm by no means an expert in packaging a lot of heavy weights, but it seemed to be packaged well. Each plate was wrapped individually in a foam sheet, and none of them took any damage in shipping, despite the box looking like it'd seen things. However one of the wingnuts had been cracked. Fortunately not in any way that affects its functional integrity, but I'd imagine it's not impossible for that to happen either. It'd have been nice if the manufacturer could have included an extra one in case something like this happens, since it is very standard and lightweight plastic.Overall, I'm satisfied with the set and would recommend it to someone looking for a convenient option in the home.

I bought this for my son for Christmas. It's a great starter set for your home gym, when you can't make it to the gym. Assembly is easy and disassembles great for storage if you don't have much space. The shape is great for staying in place and not rolling away. Definitely recommend this set!
