Bavarian Meats Landjaeger German Sausage Spicy and Regular Variety 6 - 2 packs

First time I've had Landjaeger but had read about it in hunting forums. Recently went on two and a half day road trip with wife and daughter and I think they wound up eating more than I got. Very tasty and not greasy like a Slim Jim or other convenience store meat snack. I have ordered another supply to take on a hunting trip next month to carry in my day pack while away from camp.

Bought these for my dad for Christmas. He specifically asked for a high quality landjaeger, and after reading reviews, I decided these would be best. He said these were the BEST landjaeger he's ever had (raved about them).He said these are already dried just right. Apparently other landjaeger needs to be dried but is then susceptible to mold, so he loved that these were delicious right away.

You know you wanna put the spicy sausage in your mouth.Seriously though, it's not super greasy and it's got that natural casing crack that I love. It's a substantial snack that doesn't leave you feeling like you just sucked out a tub of Crisco through a straw.

Regarding the product, 4 stars: excellent flavor, fresh, and just enough spice in the Hot & Spicy version. As noted on the package, actual weight will vary per sausage; the first pack I opened had 2 links at 45g each (serving size is 65g).Regarding seller, 5 stars. Seller is awesome: very quick shipment, well packaged, and a nice note enclosed. Will definitely order again from Shop Save U More when possible (especially if they start carrying Utopenci...). :)

I bought this set to distribute in a gift basket project I had for the holidays for various people in my life, where the size of the basket and the goodies inside was dependent on my obligation to them. I've had these sausage before and was super pleased to be able to find them on Amazon in bulk for lower cost (per unit!) than if I were to purchase them at a local gourmet store. I particular like the spicy version as it as a pleasant little kick. No complaints, but a few compliments from my gift basket recipients, so 5 stars it is!

My husband first discovered these “Walk-About Meat Sticks” when we visited Pike’s Place Market in Seattle. But we only make it there about once a year. So I was thrilled to discover these for sale on Amazon. Now he can have them whenever he gets a craving!

Just as I remember it

Excellent flavor and texture. Dries well, and well packed if you don't like to dry your LJ before snarfing it down.
