From a nutrient perspective, this contains exactly what you'd expect from an energy gel, with plenty of glucose to fuel you through a workout. It was easy to open and consume when out and about. But I found the texture unpleasant, and the lemon lime flavour was pretty awful. It feels way too artificial, and would benefit from being a less harsh flavour. Either have a different flavour or a different product altogether!

These are marketed at Footballers but are suitable for any intense exercise or sport where you need a quick hit of energy on the go. Personally I use them when Mountain biking and they work really well for me, they have a good balance of energy and electrolytes which keeps my energy levels up and stops muscle cramps. They taste nice and tangy which is fantastic, som others I have tried leave a chemical aftertaste but that's not a problem with these. My only slight complaint is that they are a bit liquidy so you need to be careful not to spill them when opening, other than that they are perfect and much better value than the leading brand.

You get a box of these gels, and the one I got had a year to go for the best by date.I don't expect fine dining with these, they are purely functional, and have swallowed some quite meh gels in my time, but these are absolutely horrid, it not only tastes like some 80s candy, but feels like you're swallowing battery acid. I took two sips out of one and junked the rest, and I* HATE wasting anything foods like. Avoid

These are a good pack of sports gels. They are quite pricey for everyday use but would be good for runners, cyclists or other high intensity sports.The sachets are a handy size and easy to store. They each contain 28g of carbohydrates which are fast acting.They are lemon and lime flavour which is sweet tasting.They do the job and are a good addition to the kit bag.I would recommend.

I ordered these for my partner who sometimes gets low sugar spells if he hasn’t eaten. He’s been tested for everything under the sun and all came back fine, but every now and then he just needs something quick to bring him back up, and these have been perfect.They’re easy to stash in the car, his bag, or even his jacket pocket, and the texture’s smooth enough that he doesn’t need water straight after. He’s not a runner or athlete, but the effect is the same, they give him that fast, noticeable lift without upsetting his stomach or leaving him jittery.He’s tried the lemon and lime flavour so far, and it’s actually really nice - not that sickly artificial taste some gels have. Just sharp enough to feel refreshing. You can tell they’re designed for proper sports use because they work fast; within about ten minutes he’s feeling better and more alert.They’re not cheap, but honestly, for the peace of mind they give us, they’re worth it. I’d rather he have one of these than reach for a fizzy drink or chocolate bar every time his energy drops. These gels do the job, they taste decent, and they’ve now got a permanent spot in the kitchen cupboard and glovebox.

These are basically just a sugar syrup - The carbs are virtually 100% sugar. So good for a immediate short term boost, but actually not very good for any sustained sport at all.Much better gels are out there for less imo, these are £20 for 12 (Oct '25) so not good value imo.Also all these sorts of pouches are near impossible to recycle single use plastics. They do come in a good carb box at least.Easy to use and being mostly sugar absorbed quickly.

The best I found in Amazon. I take them in my runs every 5K and I feel new power after taking them. The taste is strong lemony. You may want to get use to it. I did, fast, and love the taste as well. You feel the added electrolytes in them.
