Works fine, size is convenient. Cons: Mesh is bit large for smaller pests, so sometimes they escape from the net. Also sometimes you need to hit some flies twice to actually do the damage.

After one shot!the trigger no longer works. I put in new batteries and only the red light is on.

We have an overwhelming fly problem in our kitchen - we love in the country surrounded by fields and this time of year the doors and windows are open through the heat of the day. None of the humane methods we tried did anything at all and fly traps/fly paper catch a lotsof flies but are pretty disgusting to have hanging in the kitchen. This electric bat thingy is the best thing we've found so far. It's pretty satisfying to use and makes fly disposal into less of a choir and more of a recreation. It's quite tricky to swag a fly but when you get on it makes a satisfying POP and flies drop like... Well they drop like flies I recommend this one ('handy' bug bat over the normal bug bat) as it's a bit smaller in the handle but similar size actual electric bit. And it feels much better quality to me Batteries not included
