Amazing Product
I purchased one of these and used it in my office to create an access point though my work computer so I could connect my tablet, phone, and other devices though the internet used by my computer. This worked perfectly and I experienced no problems setting it up.I liked it so much that I purchased 2 more. One went to my coworker and she had problems sharing the internet with her iPad (original). We couldn't get her iPad to work on it, and we are not sure why. I could connect all her devices to it no problem. The device is tiny and works well on:PS VitaNintendo 3DSGalaxy Tab 10.1Various Android phones and iPhonesWindows 7 LaptopsMacBookCould not get it to work with:iPad (1st gen)I'm not sure if it was an issue with the iPad or our network.Otherwise, such a good product I would recommend it to anyone.

Annoying for Mac users
My airport card on my unibody macbook pro started flaking out on me so I figured rather than deal with it I would slap in an external. This seemed to have the best reviews and mac compatible so I gave it a shot.Well heres the skinny:Pros-Great signal-Rock solid-Nice app that shows useful infoCons:-App has to be open every time the computer wakes to re-establish connection-Wish I had a setting to turn off the blinking traffic LEDThe first con is really the major annoyance. I was hoping that closing the lid and putting the computer to sleep and then waking it back up would result in the card automatically re-establishing connection with my default profile, unfortunately the app has to be open at the time of wake for it to do it. bummer....

Does not work with my Mac Mini
The first problem was that the mini cd provided containing the software couldn't be used in the slot-loading disk player on my Mac. I was able to circumvent this problem by finding (with some difficulty) a driver download online at the company's website. After installing the software, restarting, and inserting the device, it is not working. The unit blinks when plugged into the USB socket on the Mini, but Network preferences gives me the message that either the cable isn't plugged in (there isn't a cable-?) or the device at the "other end" (which is the adapter itself, I assume-?) is not responding. To be honest, I can't say for sure that the trouble isn't with my Mini, which has been acting flakey lately. So your experience may be different. Be that as it may, no kind of instructions or help material comes with the unit in regard to using it with a Mac; you are on your own in figuring things out. Also, there is an uninstaller provided with the software, but it simply opens a terminal window with some confusing prompts which leave it unclear what to do to uninstall the software. I gave up, left it installed, and returned the unit for a refund.

Didn't last very long.
I purchased this product to work with my dual booted Hackintosh computer. It worked great on both Snow Leopard and Windows XP and the size of the wifi card was unobtrusive since it is very small and won't break off. The problem was that after about 3 months, the USB adapter died. It will see the wifi signals available but never be able to connect. It keeps on refreshing the available wifi for both XP and Snow Leopard. I knew it was already a risk purchasing a cheaper product so I can't say I'm surprised it didn't last long.

Sapido mini USB wireless adapter
Bought this product to get my Macbook up and running with wireless again. Macbook adapter unexpectedly quit working and replacing it with a new one didn't fix the problem (kinda a common problem from what I've read online). Saw this adapter was Mac compatable and the price was super reasonable, so thought I would give it a try. Wanted something that was not very large sticking out the side of the laptop - which this product isn't. Very small footprint on side of laptop. Received product and saw it came with a mini CD which won't work in my slot loading drive. Had to copy from another computer to media that would work in Macbook - I have a file server, so copied disc data to that. Accessed the copied data and was unable to run the installer from the copied data, but after inserting adapter into Macbook and directing to Mac driver folder from my copied data, I was up and running very quickly. The interface is fairly simple to navigate, nothing very strange about what it see's for wireless networks and the information you need to input to connect. Have very good transfer rates when closer to wireless router, but when removed and separated by walls, signal strength seems to drop more than expected, but still stay connected and fast enough to do most internet work. Only thing about adapter that is somewhat a let down, and I haven't found a way to change, is that when you create profiles from available networks you attach to and save for later access, when you go back to that particular wireless location, the adapter doesn't auto connect to it. You have to manully connect to the save network and are quickly up and running again. Kind of an annoyance, but not a deal breaker. Overall, I am quite happy with the adapter, pricing, size of adapter and performance. For the money and what I needed it for, felt I made a good deal and have a product that keeps my Mackbook wireless capabilities alive.
