I like the item, but not happy with the scent and there are no other choices

This is the cutest little thing and I absolutely love it, however the air freshener aspect is a bit lackluster. When you first open the packaging, the scent it pretty strong but after about a day you cannot smell it. I thought at first maybe I got used to the smell, but passengers I've asked say they cannot smell anything either. But for the price, even as a cut little decorative buddy to drive along with you makes this little guy absolutely worth it and I plan to buy more of them. I probably will just try and figure out my own type of air freshener to put in it.

It's very cute with It's boppy little antennas, I even named him ASTRO, but that's as far as it goes. You can't smell the air freshener inside it. Not sure if it's because the holes facing the air vent are too small or because it might need another hole in the front of the little guy to allow air to pass thru. If you want a cute car buddy, then go for it. If you really want an air freshener that actually freshens the air, shop for something else.

I love my little guy. The scent didn’t last long but spray Bath and Bodyworks on the insert and .. bam.. scent refreshed. Matches my black and dark grey interior perfect.
