I purchased this because after owning my vacuum for a whole 3 days, wife accidentally ran over a sock. It melted the roller into two different pieces and started smoking. It is made out of a thin tube of plastic. This isn't a very well built part but I already owned the vacuum so I had no choice. It was an easy install.

Awesome little kit. Made my sweeper function like new again. Easy install. The seven screws on the bottom and you just slide these things in.The belt felt like it was going to be too small, but it stretched to fit perfect!

LISTEN TO ME. DO NOT PURCHASE. You cannot use the vacuum in an upright position (meaning you can’t use the hose attachment) with this roller brush. I replaced the brush, vacuumed the floor, then switched to using the hose and out of nowhere I started smelling burning rubber. Thinking it was the belt, I ordered replacement belts for it and after taking my vacuum apart realized the roller brush MELTED. I literally had the new brush for a day before it did this. Terrible quality. Might as well just order a part from bissell’s website.FYI about the photo (I have 3 fluffy dogs hence all the hair.

Easy to install, quality of brushes are good and it cam with 2 new belts and a plastic tool to help installing the new belt.

I vacuum a lot as I have three huskies and two cats and a new baby. We are indoor and outdoor people often. We love to host and have holiday get-togethers. This vacuum actually was a blessing and I love to switch out the belts as often as I can, because it helps with suction and function of the vacuum anyways, this was a perfect little package and super affordable.
