So I did some research into this product. I live in an area where some people are getting desperate and breaking into cars. In my opinion, parking your car in a garage is the safest thing to do to protect your car but if you have to park your car outside, then this is a must.In addition to hearing and reading that more cars are getting broken into, I also read that thieves are better at getting illegal remote control key fobs to start your car without having to break anything and they can be driving off with your car in a matter of seconds to minutes.Besides locking your car, hiding valuables, parking in a well lit area, getting this Steering Wheel Lock is a great addition. You can see it from outside the car very easily and if you look thru my dirty tinted window you can still see it. Once it is on it does not come off without the keys. The keys are very unique and do not think that they can be picked. Luckily for me it comes with 3 sets of keys in case I lose one of those little suckers.Back in the day, I used to own one of the red popular name brand red steering wheel locks, that thing was cumbersome, big and heavy and it did attract a lot of attention. Fast forward to 2021 and this thing feels very sturdy and well built. It does have some weight to it but not too heavy to handle. It is a good size for a visual deterent but not too cumbersome that makes you waste time fumbling around with it. I feel very safe with this on my car. I would recommend this to my friends and family. Thank you for a great product.

First of all, it is very sturdy and well-made. Definitely a deterrent for somebody looking to quickly steal a vehicle. It would take hours to hack-saw through this thing. Pretty easy to use once you figure out the best position for your car. Only complaint is a minor one. It almost slides out and locks too easily so if you don't get it positioned right you have to use the key to unlock it and reposition it. With a little practice though it should not pose that big of a problem.

Good product, easy to use and does not damage or scratch the steering wheel. It will help slow down a potential thief.

Good protection

Was put off by the poor grammar on the packaging and the dirty finger prints on the foam when opening.Apart from that, everything was great - as advertised. Cheaper than other similar products but good, sturdy construction. Would take a lot of drilling with a good drill to disarm it without the keys.

Wir haben das Teil immer in unserem VW-Campingbus. Es ist einfach und sehr schnell in Sekunden zu montieren und von außen gut sichtbar. Es ist uns klar, dass dieses Teil für einen Profi kein Hindernis darstellt, aber es macht doch Arbeit und verzögert die Angelegenheit. Es ist zudem außerordentlich stabil und auch gegen aufbohren einigermaßen geschützt.

Considerando che oramai le nuove auto usano diversi dispositivi elettronici contro i furti (immobilizer, antifurto satelitare) ma che comunque hanno i loro punti deboli, l'aggiunta di un buon antifurto meccanico può sicuramente aumentare l'effetto deterrente o rendere il furto sicuramente più complicato.Questo prodotto l'ho trovato molto valido, innanzitutto tenendolo solamente in mano si ha subito una sensazione di solidità e robustezza dal metallo utilizzato. La serratura, che è la parte fondamentale, è decisamente atipico (quindi meno comune e più difficile da scassinare) e da dettagli dovrebbe resistere a martellate, al trapano, e arnesi da taglio.L'antifurto viene fornito con 3 chiavi oltre ad una punta che può essere montata sulla base dell'antifurto per trasformarlo in un martello di emergenza per rompere i finestrini. Per evitare di rovinare il volante sono presenti delle striscie gommate da incollare internamente sull'antifurto. Infine una striscia di velcro per tenere chiuso l'antifurto.Per installarlo sul volante la procedura è molto semplice: basta solamente posizionarlo ed allungarlo fino a fissarlo (in fase di chiusura non serve la chiave), si rende quindi impossibile ruotare il volante a chiunque riesca ad entrare in macchina. Come da foto, anche esternamente è perfettamente visibile e quindi utile a scoraggiare il furto.Ottimo Prodotto. Solido, Compatto e funzionale.
