Other books covered the what part of Linux Device Drivers. This book not only cover it but also explains the why part of the story.

This book is awesome and gives all the essential ingredients to write a device driver. Only conern is too pricy concerning the fact that updated version will be charged further. I wanted to buy this book on my kindle but new edition is coming soon with lots of updated stuffs and that time I have to spend again more than 1000bucks. Publisher and Amazon should provide customer updated verion for the purchased book. For now I deleted the purchase even though this book is awesome. Have to stick with hard book.

One of my favourite books to learn from

I took this book for one of my course in electrical engineer and I don't need teacher anymore! I recommend it.
