I don’t know, you get into your mid 30s and somehow a cherry pitter just makes your day. This is easy to use does the job.

Pitting cherries is always a messy task but this tool makes it so much easier. I thought it looked cheap when it arrived, but I've pitted 40lbs of cherries and the tool looks like new!

This works like a charm! It easily pitted our cherries. The directions show placing your thumb over where the pit comes up; make sure you do that, as if you don't you (and your immediate surroundings!) will be sprayed with cherry juice. Seriously, the juice flew everywhere. Once I followed the picture, it was perfect. Makes it so much easier to include cherries in compotes, fruit salads, or just to eat out of the bowl. Simple, straightforward, and I am so glad that I invested!

Had to pit 2 big bags of cherries. Made all the difference!!
