Just about perfect for Ruger Mini 14 with scope
I don't have a lot to add to the previous positive reviews, but wanted to comment on how it fits a Mini 14. At least one previous review stated that it fit a mini 44 very well, but didn't mention if they had a scope or not. This case is just about a perfect fit for Mini 14 WITH scope. It's secure but not too tight. There's plenty of vertical room above the scope so that the zipper isn't tight, but no so much that the gun moves around. I think the Mini 14 is about 37.5" long, and the case is about 38-ish inside, so perfect fit.

Sturdy,compact,cheap price
I was really pleased at what I received. Very simple and to the point case. I was looking for as compact of a case as possible for my 18" 10/22 carbine. All other cases seamed to be way too long making the case flimsy and flop over on one end. I read the reviews on here before ordering about adding 3 inches to your rifle to ensure it will fit. My 10/22 measured 36" so I got the 40" bag. I just placed my gun inside the bag and it is as close to a perfect fit as possible. Maybe about a half a inch on both sides. I don't have to force the zipper closed or anything. Should have enough room to put a scope on also. The outside material feels sturdy enough to be set on the ground and not worry about it. Inside cloth is soft and protecting. The foam is very think but feels cheap when you squeeze it. Its definitely not closed cell foam or anything like that but I didn't expect it for 20 bucks. The pocket is handy and will be nice for some ear/eye protection and maybe some ammo. The larger pocket has three Velcro straps in it that are very cheap and I kinda wish they just wernt there. Might try to remove them. The pocket on the pocket would be good for a ID or membership card, maybe keys, or other thin items.Zippers are big and work wellShoulder strap is handy but will probably replace with a custom paracord one.Overall nice bag for the price range. It is small but that's exactly what I wanted.

Deserves its good reviews
I looked around a bit and just wasn't finding a satisfying case for my first AR build. They were either $20 and too basic or $100 plus. This one caught my attention for the great price with high rating and reviews. It deserves them. The padding is beefy; the construction is well-build; the zippers are nicely oversized and solid. The biggest question I had was about the pockets. Although other model pics showed the pocket pouch from outside, this one didn't. The pockets are great too. It is sized to hold 60 rounds in magazines. There are 3 Velcro straps on the inner pocket, which opens all the way up for easy access. Two straps are horizontal and hold 2 20-rd magazines with a third unstrapped in between. One strap is vertical and holds a 30-rd magazine with a second unstrapped below it. So, you can carry 3 20-rd or 2 30-rd magazines in the inner pocket. The outer pocket is great for accessories, sight adjust tool, chamber flags, etc. I was glad of selectable sizes too. I picked a 40" case to go with my 36" total length rifle. It fits like a glove with no leftover case to flop around. I will likely order another to go with the second build I am working on.

Great case for the money. Tactical Shotgun
Have been shopping for a case for my NEF Pardner Pump shotgun (Remington 870) and found this case. For the money and the quality you get, is a great deal.It has nice features such as oversize dual zippers and enough padding so it's not too bulky. Comfortable padded grips with velcro loop. Has external pocket which consist of a pouch and pocket.Pocket is useful to keep several shells and pouch has 3 velcro loop fasteners where you can hold other items. Has a decent swivel adjustable shoulder strap with quick spring release. The case measures 40" across from the outside of the case and NOT inside. So make sure you add couple of inches to the total of your firearm to insure your case will fit.My shotgun measures 37.25" from tip of barrel to the end of the butt stock and it's a snug fit. Anything longer will not fit. I also have a sidesaddle that gives it more with and the case fits snug. I had a tactical light attached to the forend, but have to remove the light for the case to zip up. Not really a big deal since I will not be using the light when shooting at the range. All said and done. This is a very nice case for the price and should last a while.

Good Value
Buy your case 2" longer than your rifle and you should be set. I like the look and feel of the case. The exterior fabric looks like it will wear well. The stitching looks solid. The foam is a good thickness and should provide reasonable protection. The inside is soft just as it should be to protect a firearm. The side pocket is a nice size and convenient. The only problem I encountered was with the zippers. They are heavy duty and look to be of decent quality but are a little sticky and hard to operate. If it were not for the sticky zippers, this case would get 5 stars. Even with the slightly hard to operate zippers, overall I think this case is a good value for the money. In the future, I will consider this brand for other firearms cases I might need.

Perfect fit for Benelli M4
Benelli M4 with collapsible stock and factory muzzle brake is 38.5". The 40" case fits just right without any room to spare. Like none. Side pocket is nice to put some boxes of shells in. It's a perfect range/transport bag that adds as minimal bulk as possible.

Legit case for the price
I received this case today and I was very happy that the 40 inch case fit my 37.5 inch Mini 14 perfectly. I would recommend that you folks out there in Amazonland get the case that is 2 inches longer than your weapon. One potential problem are the zippers and velcro straps inside the side pocket; the side zipper was zipped halfway but it was open at both ends (hopefully you've seen a crappie zipper before and understand what I mean) and the velcro seems pretty weak. The outside material seems good quality and the handle and strap look legit. Does anyone else find it strange that the description of the rifle case states that the item includes a rifle case?
