Good keypad once you figure out how to pair it.
I added this to my Aleko AC1400 opener. Like the opener it's a nightmare to program but once you're over the hurdle then it works well. The instructions that came with it said absolutely nothing about how to pair the keypad to the motor. After a half hour hold the tech support guy was very helpful and we paired it and changed the combo. Seems to work great. This company really needs to improve the basic instructions that come with their products. The folks in tech support are helpful but extremely difficult to get ahold of.

It works like it should.
The good points:It works perfectly after setting it up.The housing is sturdy metal.I don't have any bad points; it does exactly what it's supposed to do.If I was designing it; I would get rid of a couple digits required for the code.I would improve on the cheesy beeps when you press the buttons. It sounds like it's about to die on each key-press.

Good for DIYers
I used this remote with a Vevor gate opener. Wired per the gate opener instructions and worked perfectly. Programming instructions are fairly easy to understand.

Weak signal; don't bother.
This thing is built very solidly and that may be its critical failure. The housing is all metal and feels very solid, but it only works when in very close proximity to the gate. I'm guessing all that metal attenuates the signal too much. I wanted to use this as a way of opening the gate from inside my driveway. I first mounted it to the frame of my garage door, 10 feet from the motor; no good. Then I thought I'd mount it right to the gate itself, which only works when the gate is in a position where the controller is right above the motor. The increase of space, 12 feet, is too great when the gate is closed. Oddly enough, the little key fob that came with the system has twice the range. Yes, I know I could have mounted a wired control switch, but just didn't want to dig the trench, install the conduit, and run the wire for something that should be able to be done wirelessly in this day and age! My last complaint, and it is a bit nit-noid, is that you have to push no less that eight buttons to enter a code...P/N...then 6 digit code...then OK. It won't let you choose a 4 digit code and I'm not sure why the P/N push is necessary. I guess I'll just carry that key fob around when I'm working in the driveway.

ALEKO- no reply from Tec dept, no help whatsoever on their products.
Unit is very nicely constructed , however,I have tried to contact this company with no results, how do you remove the black plastic back, I have almost or will destroy the unit trying to prize it off, I quit after getting paint chips and plastic pieces prying on the back. Email is no use and no Tec. department. My photo cell for the front gate the wiring is difficult when they will not reply, might blow the circuit board fuse or transformer, wiring shows a emitter and receiver and not a reflector type as purchased. wireless key pad, instructions are font #-1 almost unreadable.

Nice Value
Easy to program and is compatible to the Topen's keypad at a much lower price. Yes this works and is easily programmable to the Topen's swing gate opener.

Works good but......
Make sure to check or change the batteries from factory. Mine were dead. My first remote worked for two years. Went dead and bought a second. Would not pair up. Change batteries and remote lit up. Will pair this weekendπ€π»π€π»π€π»π€π»

Not compatible with stated Aleko gates - just avoid this thing
I have a AS900 (dual version of AS450). the wiring harness doesn't even have enough pins to cover left to right the instructions manual's required pins on the keypad's control board. Moreover, a red wire coming from one the far left of the harness is cut ~1mm long, as if it the maker decided later it was not needed, yet again, the diagram asks you to use the pin where that red wire would connect?? Another red wire (presumably for + power terminal) from within the keypads housing is present, but not mentioned in the literature or diagrams of the manual at all. The manual is a mess. I'll be returning this and waiting for the wireless LM 172 to come back in stock. Man, one thing after another with Aleko and THEIR supposed accessories...

Absolutely garbage
Junk junk junk!!! You would need to bring out your welder for this to look straight and secure. If you take no pride in what things look like or if the function at all. This might work for you.

Works for smaller key pads.
This key pad enclosure is adequate for small key pads. It gives your key pad some protection from the elements.
