Shun Classic Master Utility Knife, 6.5 Inches (DM0782)

This knife is the real deal, after constant use for over nine months it is still very sharp and has no blemishes. I keep it clean and dry, it is a perfect blend of balance, sharpness and design - it is light to hold and very versatile. I use it for all types of food preparation and it's the only knife I use to cut tomatoes without having to push too hard. I use it for cutting all types of vegetables, meats, fruits, I use it for fine cutting and trimming such as garlic, as well as when I want to cut onions and mushrooms very thin.

I own 7 shun knives, both sora and classic - this is my favorite, the shape and balance work for me , and as with all shun knives it is wickedly sharp.

very comfortable, very very light, very very very sharp.couldn't be more pleased....but being a perfectionist... a stamp on the end cap would be cool, some symbol that ID the blade type, I keep mine in a knife block and if i had several it would be most excellent to be able to tell whats what without removing it..just a thought.

Great midsized knife , I find myself reaching for it over and over.
