Many cars, however, do not have a flat surface as a jack point. Instead they have a “pinch point” to jack from. This thin vertical point is intended to fit inside a groove in the standard supplied vehicle jack. The blocks that come with the QuickJack are solid blocks and, therefore, cannot adequately accommodate a pinch point jack location. Using them could damage the blocks and/or the pinch point. QuickJack sells pinch point jack blocks for $85.00 on their site. Amazon sellers also offer pinch point blocks for less than $85.00. Most third-party blocks are round but should work with QuickJack.

Q: Could i crank and run transmission through gears on this lift? Looking to dry store for a couple years, wondering if car could be ran to circulate

yea you could the lift does not go under the tires so you could run the car while on the lift just be safe about it..

Q: I live in Northeast where there are lots of road salt in the winter, can this unit stay under the car all year long? Will it rust?

I wash cars on the Quickjack all the time. No signs of corrosion at all in a year. Probably a good idea to just hose off the salt and crud once in a while.
