We really enjoyed reading this book...repeatedly lol.

Fantastic book! We read all the Pete the Cat books at school. Started with 'white shoes', then 'buttons' , 'saving christmas', 'New shoes', 'new guy' and ending our school year with 'the magic sunglasses'. To say that the children were engaged with the story/stories is an understatement. They took the character to their hearts and I used him to inspire their learning throughout the year (I also have the puppet). This book is amazing. The pictures are bright and colourful and has a really nice message about being brave and happy with what you have. We made our own sunglasses and wrote about what magic they may have. Well recommended.

A very repetitive story. I bought it to use in school with a group of infant children. Think they will love it. It's quite a basic story. It has online video to go with it ( you tube). The book is just like the story- watch the clip first!

Excellent story that brilliantly gets the message of differing emotions across. Superbly illustrated with brightly coloured images that offer lots of discussion points. A real hit with the children!
