The best marine battery on the planet.
I bought 2 of these for my bass boat in 1999 when Cabelas sold them. I mainly fished in river conditions with strong current. I was buy a new Trolling motor battery every 2 years and was looking for a better alternative. The manufacturers sales pitch was "You can't run these batteries down in a single day". So when I got them off to the river I went to test this claim out. I went to the river that had the strongest current and proceeded to dog these batteries for 8 hrs at 100 percent every time I hit the foot pedal. At the end of the day I was worn out but the batteries were not. Fast forward to 2017 where one of the 2 batteries finally gave up the ghost 17 1/2 years later! I contacted Odyssey to let them know how pleased I was with their product. They got in touch with me several times asking all sorts of questions and ended up sending me 2 more brand new marine batteries for free and thanked me for letting them know. I gave the bad battery to a friend of mine along with the battery that was still good. To date my buddy still uses the other battery on his jet boat in 2025!

Great so far
Installed into my 2009 Jeep JKUR to replace the two Optima blue top Marine batteries that gave up the ghost. Odyssey seems to be the go to battery for some time from what I have heard for years, since Optima quality went to hades.I have high hopes. Wish I could have afforded two, I usually run duals.It fit in my M.O.R.E. dual battery tray, had to use the provided spacer under the battery. Had to make a hold down for it and fabricate and attached point, since it's a single in dual tray.
